Ice Box Pickles
7 cups thinly sliced cucumbers ( 10-14 small )
1 cup chopped green pepper ( 1 medium )
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup vinegar
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons salt
1 teaspoon celery seed
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Let set for about 1/2 hour.
Place in small jars and refrigerate. Ready to use in 1 hour.
