I started skating in 1961 at 5 years old and it seems that I spent at least 4-5 days per week at the rink until 1970 when I moved away.
Joe Blavet gave me private lessons at dance, figures and free style, but I was only interested in two things at that time, Speed and Girls. I won just about every race that I entered and alway had a supply of free passes for my friends. I still appreciate all the memories and miss those days of that youthful boy gliding along!
