What a great site. I skated from 13 to 18 at Motor City. Took dance lessons from good old Joe Blavitt before he and Rose split up. The crowd I hung with included Bob Weber,Pam? Marilyn? Mary, who later married Joe Blavitt). Also remember Bill McCloud, Jack Brunner, and Denise Blavitt, Bob Bruhan, his girlfried was Marcia at that time. I was engaged to his Bob's brother Charlie for awhile). Also knew Bill Chittenden, Jim Hatfield and many others. I still have my three medals for figure skating, and all my dance medals up to the Silver. I dated Carl Newman and Bob Weber when I was 18 - just saw on the website that they have passed on.
