What can I say about the Motor City Skating Center reunion last night at the 7 Star?

AWESOME!

First, the DVD montage of the video and pics from the website that Eddie Jr did is outstanding. I saw a few tears amongst the crowd.

Seeing some people who I have not seen in over 20 years was great! I have not seen Louise Cappazoli and Ron Chase since I joined the Coast Guard. Also seeing people who I have not seen in a few years, like Delbert, Cindy, Glen, Arlene, Jenny, Michelle Schang, Andy, Andy Jr, Timmy, Debbie, Billy, Becky, Otto, Jerrianne (SP?), Jody, Velda and others.

DJ'ing a set of MC tunes was my personal highlight! I like to thank Carwax for letting Eddie Jr and myself spin some records......uh..... CDS! You don't know how good that felt! Superfreak, Rock Lobster, Whip it, Into the Night, Time to Move, Wango Tango, and even Marie changing my set for me (Like she used to all the time! LOL!) brought back fond memories! Eddie Jr and myself were like kids last night, doing something that we both love (I used to DJ at a radio station in Kew West, as well as DJing wedding receptions for StarShowz in Detroit).

The night totally rocked, and my voice is almost shot, and now got the exhibit and the skating night a head....

Oh Well, GIT-R-DONE!

Thanx Tony for this website, and the Motor City project, which led up to this weekend.

Thanx Steve for keeping in touch with all of us, keeping us together.

Thanx Carwax for letting Eddie Jr and myself relive our Motor city DJ past

Thanx Edward A. Hakim, without you, none of this would have happened.
