I started skating at Motor City in 1967 after I graduated from Warren High School. I met a lot of wonderful friends there, and still stay in contact with some of them. I'll never forget the great fun I had hanging out with Kathy & Gary, Nick & Nancy, George V, the Taperts, and many more. That's where I met Tom, and we married in 1970. We had two daughters, Toni and Terri, in 1972 and 1975. Tom and I parted ways in 1977, and for 10 years I was a content, busy single mom raising two awesome daughters.

In 1987, I married my best friend Bill, and gained another two wonderful daughters (exactly the same ages as my own), Monica and Alison. Now we had four daughters, who seemed to experience their life events in multiples... high school graduations the same years, colleges, two weddings within four months of each other, and the other two weddings within two months of each other. Then we had four wonderful sons-in-law. Not long after, the grandchildren started blessing our lives. The first was born in 1998. Then three daughters delivered three more blessings within a six-week span in 2001. Two years later, two daughters delivered within four weeks of each other. Our number seven grandchild is coming the first of June 2005. So at this point, my two offspring has multiplied to 15! And this Grandma couldn't be happier!!

Bill and I are very active in our church, and thank the Lord for being so richly blessed with our amazing family and friends. I've worked at the same advertising agency since 1982, and Bill is an underwriter at a mortgage company. We live in Shelby Township, and share a love of gardening in our beautiful backyard "Rudnik Gardens" (free admission to our friends!). Photography, art, and scrapbooking take up my time that's left over after working, visiting grandchildren, and weeding & planting.

Toni and Terri and their families live just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, near Nick and Nancy Barbier. My daughters moved there for an adventure ten years ago (I really thought they'd be back!), and discovered that it was where they wanted to stay. Thankfully, I get a lot of vacation time off work, and spend most of it in Nashville loving on those little ones. Here are some photos of us, our children and their families, and our garden.
