A friend of mine has a Andreas Guarnerius Violin 1860, on the inside it says:
Andreas Guarnerius fecit cremone fub titulo sancte' terefiae 1680, it comes withe the bow and everything is there, and is in a wood violin case painted black, no leather covering, the case has a couple of cracks on it and the violin has one area (Front seam)which has a small crack.
The latches on the case lock by pushing them in sideways and by the green on them I believe they are made of copper.
Can someone tell me what this is worth, thanks for the hepl.
