My sister just bought a second hand violin because it was so lovely looking (we are completely without musical talent LOL) and was wondering about the origins of it. There is a small label inside which reads Andreas Guarnerius fecit Cremonae anno 1715. There are no other discernible markings that we could see. Would anyone have any idea how to find out more about tis provenance?
