my school was throwing away some old stuff and there were a bunch of violins, so i took the nicest one of the lot (the only one that didnt have cracks or seperation of glue seams) the lable reads Ernst Heinrich roth, (then word i cant remember how to spell, bubensomthig, erlangen, 1967, and it says copy of antoni stradavari 1700 not sure of exact spellings sory, its in good shape only a few little scratches, no cracks or glue joint seperation, only thing thats not ebony is the chin rest which probably is aftermarket since it looked the same as the junky violins had, it has 4 fine tuners on it, warm reddish color with flamed maple back and sides, spruce top it looks like. does anyone know any more about these? what it would be worth perhaps, im not sure if im going to sell it as i already have a violin that i play. please get back to me, message board or email
thanks
