I am trying to find out something about a about a violin that I aquired. It is labeled Andreas Guarnerius fecit Cremona 1890 (the date is difficult to read and it may not be 1890). The violin is embellished with a lion head scroll and a double row of perfling which forms a design. The shoulders and upper back of the voilin have been varnished in a lighter color than the remainder of the insturment.
It has beautiful, full, rich sound.

I am interested in any information that you can give me. Does anyone know the value of such an insturment?

Thank you so much for your help!
