My specialties include Irish, Bluegrass, Contradance and Jazz fiddling. I also teach some Scottish, English, southern/Appalachian/old-time, Texas, and other types of tunes, as well as viola, mandolin and bouzouki. I teach mostly by teaching people to read and write music, but I'm happy to teach by ear, by rote and via cassette tapes as well.
