Guarneri 1767?

Help! I inherited a violin which reads inside:
Joseph Guarnerius fecit
Cremonae 1767

The year 1767 is printed "17" and handwritten "67".
I have researched enough to know that Joseph Guarnerius died in 1744. Can anybody shed light on this?
