: I have a Joseph Guarnerius violin and would appreciate if someone could give me a ballpark estimate as to what my violin is worth?

: The violin is 20-1/8 inches in length and about 6 1/2 inches at the bottom. Inside the violin it reads "Joseph Guarnerius fecit Cremonae anno 17 (below the 17 is inked in 1744". There is also a cross with "IHS" below it. The violin is in very good condition and appears to be pretty old. In fact, it looks like it has its orginal gut strings on it!

: Thank you
