My friend found a violin marked: Joseph Guarnerius Fecit Cremonae Anno 1714 IHS with the cross. It is in a case and was found in the attic of an old home in Louisiana. All of the label is in ink except the "14" which is in pencil. The Federation does not list any members in Louisiana. Is anyone familiar with this particual "Joseph" of 1714. Thanks, Cindy
